PHP with the Laravel MVC framework is where I spend most days — routing, Eloquent models, auth, admin panels and payment flows. Also Node and Express APIs, over MySQL or MongoDB depending on what the data looks like. I design the schema before I write the controller.
Front end
Hand-written HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, with React or Angular where the interface behaves more like an app than a page. Responsive down to small phones and tested across browsers, because most of this traffic is mobile.
Servers and delivery
Nine years of system administration before I moved to development: Windows Server, AWS, desktop and network support. I deploy my own work and I can fix it at three in the morning.
